After a brutal Saturday softball game I wanted something cold that wasn't pure sugar, so I ran coconut water with a little pineapple juice and simple syrup through the Ninja Slushi. This Coconut Water Electrolyte Slush is lighter than the soda ones, kind of clean-tasting, and it actually helped after sweating through my jersey. My buddy Marcus called it "the responsible slush," which stuck. Keep a little simple syrup in there. Coconut water alone barely has the sugar to freeze, so a touch of sweetener is what gives it that slushy body instead of a slurry.
