Cream soda was my grandfather's drink, the one he kept in the garage fridge, so making a Vanilla Cream Soda Slush in the Ninja Slushi felt like a small tribute. I added a splash of real vanilla extract to the cold cream soda and it pushed the whole thing into melted-vanilla-ice-cream territory, smooth and a little nostalgic. My wife, who claims she doesn't like sweet drinks, finished mine. Go easy on the vanilla, like half a teaspoon. I dumped in a full spoon the first time and it tasted like a candle.
