Fresh Strawberry Patch

Strawberry season hit and I had a flat of berries going soft, so this Fresh Strawberry Patch became my excuse to use the Ninja Creami three days running. Mashing the strawberries instead of pureeing them leaves little fruit pieces that taste like actual summer, not pink syrup. The sweetened condensed milk keeps it creamy and stops the berries from freezing into ice chips. My daughter declared it 'the real strawberry one' and refused the store stuff after. Tip: mash, don't liquefy, and pat the berries a bit if they're super juicy so the base still freezes solid.
How it spins
Tip: freeze the pint on a level shelf for a full 24 hours. If the first spin looks crumbly, add a splash of milk and run Re-spin.
