Royal Peach Chill

Two ingredients, zero effort, and this Royal Peach Chill in the Ninja Slushi became my summer porch drink (adults only). Simply Peach juice and Crown Royal Peach whisky on SPIKED SLUSH, that's the whole list, and it comes out frosty and tasting like a peach orchard with a kick. My sister-in-law took one sip on the deck and said it was too easy to drink, which is exactly the problem with two-ingredient cocktails. The peach juice has enough sugar to freeze it properly, so you don't need anything extra. Just keep track of how many you've had, because it goes down like juice.

Makes ~62 oz Β· est. 6.5% ABV

Directions

  1. 1Pre-chill the bottle of Simply Peach juice and the Crown Royal Peach whisky.
  2. 2In a large pitcher, combine the entire bottle of peach juice with the peach whisky.
  3. 3Whisk gently until the spirits are thoroughly incorporated into the fruit solids.
  4. 4Pour the liquid directly into the Slushi container.
  5. 5Select the SPIKED SLUSH mode and let the system run for 30 minutes.
  6. 6Dispense the peach whiskey slush directly into glasses.

Tips

  • Pour the Simply Peach Juice and Crown Royal Peach Whisky together into the Slushi bowl at room temperature, then press start and let the machine do the churning for 20-60 minutes until you get the texture you want.
  • Check the consistency around the 30-minute mark by looking through the bowl, since thickness depends on your room temperature and how much liquid you added.
  • If the slush seems too thin when it's done, you can run it again for another 10-15 minutes to tighten up the texture.

Variations

  • Swap the Simply Peach Juice for peach nectar if you want a thicker, more syrupy result that freezes a bit faster.
  • Add a splash of fresh lemon juice to the base before pouring into the bowl for a brighter, tangier flavor without changing how the machine works.
  • Use regular peach schnapps instead of Crown Royal Peach if you prefer a drier taste, keeping the same juice base.

FAQ

Can I use frozen peach juice or pre-chill the liquid before pouring?
No, just pour room temperature liquid into the bowl. The machine is designed to chill and churn the liquid from the start, and cold liquid doesn't help it freeze faster or better.
Why isn't my slush freezing after 45 minutes?
Your kitchen temperature matters a lot, so if it's warm, the machine may take longer or struggle to reach a thick slush. Try running it for up to 60 minutes, and avoid opening the bowl during the cycle.
What should I do if the slush comes out too thin or watery?
Run the cycle again for another 10-20 minutes to let it churn and chill longer. If it stays thin, your room is likely too warm; try the recipe on a cooler day or in an air-conditioned space.
Can I make this lighter or less boozy?
Yes, use less Crown Royal Peach and more Simply Peach Juice, keeping the total liquid amount the same so the machine works properly. The machine handles the same volume either way.
