Sunny Lemon Sorbet is the Ninja Creami recipe I make when the house feels like a sauna and everyone's cranky. It's pucker-sharp and clean, tart like a frozen lemonade that means business, and the zest gives it that bright oily lemon hit you can actually smell. My son did the full sour-face, shuddered, then asked for the rest, which is the lemon-lover starter pack. Don't cut the sugar to be healthy, it's what keeps the sorbet smooth instead of an ice cube. Let it sit two minutes before spinning so the machine isn't grinding granite.

Tip: freeze the pint on a level shelf for a full 24 hours. If the first spin looks crumbly, add a splash of milk and run Re-spin.
Ingredients
- Water1.5 cup
- Fresh Lemon Juice0.5 cup
- Granulated Sugar0.5 cup
- Lemon Zest1 tsp
Directions
- 1Whisk the water, lemon juice, sugar, and zest until the sugar fully dissolves.
- 2Pour into a Creami pint, staying beneath the fill line.
- 3Freeze the pint flat for around 24 hours.
- 4Seat the pint in the machine and run SORBET.
- 5Because there is no fat, expect a crumbly first pass; add a tablespoon of water and Re-spin.
